Work together
There are several ways to work with me and the DeepTech Lab at Michigan State.
Students
If the research interests you, send a short note about what you have built or studied and what you hope to learn next. It helps to mention a project on the Research page that caught your attention.
Academic collaborators
I welcome joint proposals, shared datasets, validation studies, publications, and student exchanges. Some of the best collaborations have started with a method that needed a machine—or a machine that needed a better method.
Companies and sponsors
The lab works on sponsored research, pilots, and student projects. Useful starting points include a persistent technical problem, data that are not yet earning their keep, or access to a difficult test environment.
Donors
Gifts can support student time, sensors, machines, field tests, and promising experiments that are too early for a conventional grant. There are many ways to give – I can help start the conversation.
Media and speaking
I speak with reporters and audiences about sensing, AI, vehicles, automation, machine diagnostics, DeepTech, and technology adoption.
Independent practice
Consulting and advisory work
I also work independently through DataDriven Diagnostics on technical strategy, AI and digital transformation, diagnostics, intelligent manufacturing, fractional CTO roles, education, and expert work.
These engagements are separate from Michigan State University.
